The next shot in our series shows our train having crossed over at JACKS RUN at Bellevue, PA. Jacks Run is the name of a stream that empties into the nearby Ohio River. The tower at JACKS RUN controlled crossovers here as well as the nearby Jacks Run Yard. The somewhat obscure location made this tower a tough one to photograph. Today CP BELL stands at this location, the name of the interlocking being changed under Conrail when they changed the names of some of the Pittsburgh Division towers in the late 70s. The train from the previous shot is seen stopped at the eastbound home signal.
