Arguably the most famous tower on the Pittsburgh Line, certainly one of the most photographed, and definitely the longest in service - ALTO Tower has seen it all! Like railfans have done for decades before and after while visiting Railroad City, Mister Harvey got his shot of the venerable ALTO Tower. ALTO could use a bit of TLC in this shot, but considering its age, maybe it didn't look so bad. The tower is also wearing the new blue and white reflective call signs that Conrail put on their towers and interlocking bungalows.
