I popped up to Gateshead back in June to photograph the European Athletics at the Gateshead Stadium and had to take in a few of the sights on my way from my hotel. This is the Sage concert hall opened in 2004.

The Millennium Bridge at Newcastle, seems appropriate to post it this weekend as there will be a huge number of runners, fun runners and spectators watching athletics around there over the next couple of days.
