Fluidr / Windmill at Sundown by Dannis van der Heiden

The Oostzijdse Molen is a Dutch windmill (polder mill) from 1874 on the Gein river. The Oostzijdse mill became famous because the Dutch artist Piet Mondriaan painted it more than twenty times in the period 1902-1908.

From June 15, 2024 there will be the 'Aan het Gein' exhibition in the Mondriaanhuis in Amersfoort. This exhibition shows the beauty of the landscape around this small river through the eyes of Piet Mondriaan, Annemieke Harkema, Anna Khodorovich and Dannis van der Heiden.
