The Agusta A.101 was a large transport helicopter powered by three Rolls-Ryce Gnome turboshafts. The sole prototype first flew in October 1964 but the project was cancelled in 1971 after the Italian government decided to buy the Sikorsky Sea King instead. At least Agusta got to build the Sea Kings under license!
Stored outside behind a building at the back of a large car park, the A.101 prototype has been here since at least July 2010.
