Big baling at dusk near Keady, County Armagh. A brief spell of dry weather means the countryside is alive with machinery working. Fading light here so wide aperture and highish ISO (1000) to freeze motion. Close to 11pm and no sign of stopping work as yet. This Fendt would be regarded as one of the top brands in the tractor world...and you pay for the privilege of owning one! Plenty of detail in the late evening sky. No grad filters on - probably would have needed one to balance up better. Applied a digital grad to the RAW image. Amazing how late you have to wait for the blue hour this time of year.

A nice even batch of lambs enjoying the grass (and the view) at Richhill, County Armagh, Northern Ireland. I was waiting for the sun to light up the foreground a bit better...but all the lambs saw me and thought it was dinner time and came running up the field. Still - the view was worth it. Shot RAW and processed 3 times as different jpegs. The 3 shots were then blended in photoshop.

In explore at #297 A lone tree ... again. Lovely evening light lighting up the leaves. Lots of movement as a strong breeze blowing. The wheat crop surrounding the tree was a nice deep green as well. This tree is near a main road and has parking quite close by. I could make many visits here...thus the title. 3 handheld blended shots here as the tripod was back in the can and light fading like mad. This tree leans a bit so hopefully I was able to keep the camera level.

Great side lighting on a beautiful spring evening. A field of grass is being rowed up ready for lifting with a forage harvester. I liked the way the pattern was lit up with the setting sun. Pity all evenings were not like this one.

All moving everywhere and composition & focus is a bit hit or miss. Every now and then you will get a tap tap tap on the front of the lens. You don't need a bird phobia.
