...maybe too late. Taken at Armagh Show held in Gosford Forest Park on Saturday 8th June 2013. You need not need the blacksmith bellows to warm you up. This guy's face looks a little over cooked in photoshop. The cooking did not happen in photoshop - it was that colour on a bright sunny day in June and 20+ degrees Celsius. 70-200 on here to give me some distance.

And now for something completely different....70-200 IS L at f4.0 for this. Don't you just love the bokeh of this lens? Liked the backlighting and of course the smile in this candid style shot. Slight retouching and cloning out the odd hair in Photoshop CS5 as well as Portrait Professional. Hair coming down a little too much over one eye but hope it doesn't take away from it too much,

Not my usual type of shot...A portrait of a farmer converted to black and white with Nik Silver and CS5. Always hard to capture the character of a person.... I cropped very tight to show the detail on the face - maybe too tight??

Something a bit different for me. Strong sunlight probably not the best place to start with one of these. Also heavily cropped from original.

Still experimenting with the Siggy 1.4 . All sorts of editing here. Photoshop CS5, silver Efex pro and portrait professional. This is at F1.8 . Ambient light only. Doesn't approach the quality of this guy www.flickr.com/photos/justgerald/ He has some amazing portraits on his photostream
