I picked up some scans from slides of this bear this morning. This pretty much shows how much the sun bleached its coat.
The next shot will show the beautiful golden/cream color of the coat after he was all shed out.

PS - The bear wasn't upset only listening to a bear in the trees directly behind him. That is why his ears were back. He was never aggressive towards me.
