*Nachmittagssonne im Novemberwald*

A sunny day in November 2024 on the edge of "my" enchanted forest, which I discovered by chance about 3 years ago.

Ein sonniger Tag im November 2024 am Rande "meines" Zauberwaldes, den ich vor ca. 3 Jahren zufällig entdeckte.

From a series of pictures that I took with great enthusiasm when I first discovered this magical forest by chance 3 years ago. I've been there several times now and the conditions were different each time but never as above.

Aus einer Serie von Bildern, die ich mit großer Begeisterung fotografierte, als ich vor 3 Jahren diesen Zauberwald zum ersten Mal zufällig entdeckt hatte. Inzwischen war ich mehrmals dort und die Bedingungen waren jedesmal anders aber nie so wie oben.

Yesterday on a side street in the Eifel.
After snowfall in the morning, fog had formed around midday, which created a great atmosphere.

Gestern an einer Nebenstrasse in der Eifel.
Nach Schneefall am Morgen hatte sich um die Mittagszeit Nebel gebildet, der tolle Stimmungen erzeugte.

*Sometime in winter on the Dauner Maar*

The last harsh winter in our region was 2009/2010, when the maars froze and there was snow for weeks (archive photo).
The maars around the town of Daun are lakes of volcanic origin and are also called “The Eyes of the Eifel”.

Der letzte harte Winter in unserer Region war 2009/2010, als die Maare zufroren und wochenlang Schnee lag (Archivbild).
Die Maare rund um die Stadt Daun sind Seen vulkanischen Ursprungs und werden auch "Die Augen der Eifel" genannt.
