The more time I spend in nature the more convinced I am that there are miracles all around us. We just need to be open to receive them. Imagine coming across this scene after hiking deep into a gorge. The light hit the base of the waterfall and created this gorgeous rainbow only part of which we could see.

Puerto Rican rapper and singer Bad Bunny recently released a new album titled, DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS - I Should've Taken More Photos. All across social media platforms, people are enjoying the music but also sitting with the idea - I Should've Taken More Photos.
They are sharing some of the photos that mean the most to them - photos of family members, beloved animals, their homes, their cultures. They're also reflecting on the moments that are still alive in their memories and hearts but may have missed snapping photos of.
As we enter this new year, we wanted to also sit with that particular message, DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS - I Should've Taken More Photos. Whether you’re scrolling through your phone, looking through an old photo album or enjoying the photos on your Flickr site, what are some memories that you are so grateful to have captured?
As new ones are playing out in front of you today - your family history, your culture, the community around you - are you remembering to pause for a moment and capture those new memories being made?
If you have a photo you’d like to share today, please add it to the comments below or join us in Flickr Social where other Flickr members have already shared some of their important moments from the past as we all focus on the year ahead.

The power of photography lies not just in capturing moments but in its ability to transport us. Every time I sit down to edit a photograph, I find myself stepping through a portal—leaving behind the noise of the present and entering a world of beauty, light, and emotion. Photography gives us an escape, a chance to immerse ourselves in the wonder of a single moment frozen in time. It allows us to relive adventures, reconnect with nature, and find peace, even on the busiest or hardest days.
