This is me just playing, ahead of using this technique for a more serious photoshoot: camera on monopod, flipped upside down and rested on my shoe. Cable release attached to the camera to fire the shutter. Great aspect. Wanna pan and move the camera, just turn around, pivot your foot. Can be used nice and covertly as well; chin resting on top of monopod, cable-release out of site. Takes a while, if at all sometimes, for people to notice what you are doing.
