This was the fabulous sunset over the north east of England the other day. I took a few photos and I think this one came out very well. The contrast between the dark pylons and the sky works well. The geometric shape also contrasts well with the simple sky. I tried to use the electric cables as lead in-lines.
I took two shots of this and I think I prefer this one - the tighter crop makes the focal point a little better I think. What do other people think?

Another photo from the amazing sunset a few nights ago. This is the Angel of the North scultpure near Gateshead in the north east of England. There were a few people around which has given a good sense of scale to the photo.

I have 2 shots of this. This one which I think I prefer, and one from a wider perspective. What do you think?
