There was a 6-7 hour line up every day to see the medals at the Royal Canadian Mint Pavilion during the Olympics, so they decided to extend the exhibition during the Paralympics too.
I thought the line up would be shorter now, so yesterday I went to the exhibition (now at the Vancouver Public Library) with my friend, but it turned out that we still had to line up for four hours !!
It was worth it though.
I was really impressed to see the real gold medal, it was bigger and much heavier than I imagined.
My legs feel a bit swollen today........
