I've been looking at a photo of Marble Needle Couloir from Hidden Lake Peaks for years. I always wanted to get there, but hadn't. It was with great satisfaction that I was able to not only climb it, but ski the route from the summit of Marble Needle. While there are other better lines in the area, the mystery of this one provided some excitement.

The next day I would climb steep snow to within 15-ft of the summit of Dorado Needle. As you can see, the exposure was nauseating. Kyle and I would also ski into the clouds down into Marble creek cirque and climb a couloir between Dorado and Marble Spires.
