Another visit to Alness Old Church, this place should be so spectacular but it's state of ruin is really quite tragic. At it's core is an old norse church from the medieval period that was built over/added to in 1672 when the majority of the T plan structure was erected. This, in itself, is of great interest so to see it roofless and crumbling is a real shame. |
