Hard day at the office today! I was working in the south-western Dales, and it had the hallmarks of being a fairly easy day... so the bike got thrown on the roof carrier. I finished my scheduled workload early in the afternoon and then had a rather nice 2 and a half hours riding around the fells above Clapham.
Got to say it was steeper than anticipated, way more technical, very wet and with a strong wind that blew me off course several times. In other words... loads of fun!
May have to take the bike more often now! Especially as it means getting some daylight rides in mid week! Although next time I do this route I will go the other way around, the climb up Trow Gill was just so very, very wrong. As a descent it would be verging on scary, which is far better!

Back to the car and ready to head for home. I know it is only 6 miles... but I am not fit enough, or have the time, to ride out that far as yet!
