The boys out at Holker Garden Festival today. They had a great time, though it was a bit of a long day and a surprisingly hot considering the forecast was for overcast and showers!

A new month though, and it has started off badly with my usual go-to camera failing on me and winging it's way back to Olympus in the morning for repairs. Back to the BIG Nikon it is then... going to mis the 45mm though and alas I can't afford an 85mm Nikkor just at the moment!

Early summer on Woodland Fell in the South West Lake District National Park. It's a great area, quiet and full of ancient remains if you look close enough.

This was an 8 shot panoramic taken on the D800E with 50mm f1.4G attached.

Out on the bike - finally - although it was absolutely pouring down! I overheated badly in the waterproof jacket too leading to aborting early this time - must get a new proper mountain biking jacket one of these days since my mountaineering one is a little on the heavy side!

Anyway - good to get out, blow some cobwebs out and now to try and keep things up.
