It has been a cold, wet and windy start to June... very cold, wet and windy. Still, this small patch of meadow flowers amongst the trees did lend a slightly late spring/summer feel to the day, even if I was wearing a fleece!

The seasons feel like they are changing now! We took Jake for a walk up Lowick Common this morning, and it was the first day when you could really feel some power behind the sun.

Black Beck running through Storrs, Windermere. I have never noticed this wee fall before, but whilst waiting outside a site I went to investigate the sound of tumbling water!
