Cows gathering around the Sir John Barrow Monument on Hoad Hill, Ulverston on a summer evening.

Taken from my bedroom window with the Big Nikon (D800E) and 70-200 f2.8. I have been ignoring the Nikon too much lately (mainly as my main "standard" lens, the 24-70 f2.8 is a bit worse for wear and I am lacking filters just now)... but I think I may start using it a bit more for a bit!

The Haverthwaite - Lakeside railway running along the south western shore of Lake Windermere.

I was rather dissapointed that it was the diesel train running today, not the steam train! Never mind... I think this particular photograph is worth a reprise at another time!

Odd thing... I felt really rubbish all day, got home craving something but made a green juice rather than having something bad. Feel considerably better...

I think I am addicted to juice!

I bought a shop made one to try and quell the feeling earlier on and it made no impact. I thought I needed coffee, but resisted....

I may get healthy yet!
