A new year in a new home! I thought the best way to start off the 2016 Photo a Day project was with a photo of where we now live!

This is a good half of the entire village in a single frame. Spark Bridge is not a big place, but it is probably only a mile or two down stream from Coniston Water and is just within the Lake District National Park so we count ourselves lucky to live in such a wonderful location and look forward to exploring as the weather (and my crocked ankle) improve!
