This year's first/main theme is going to be my 5km Photo Project (as well as the 1/356 yr 7). This is an idea I had a while back then never really got around to running with - the basic idea is to take an area from your home and see what there is to photograph in it.
The area should be pretty small, I have gone with 5km in any direction as we are in a rural area so it gives me a bit more to work with, in a town or city you may go with a square km, square mile or perhaps a km/mile radius.
So my start point is home! Going to be interesting to see what I can find over the coming months!!! It is also going to tie in nicely with a 1000km challenge that Jen has "persuaded" me to get in on too!
Throw in some mountain biking, a bit of motorcycling and perhaps a few wee adventures for good measure!

I don't know how many more fells Jake has in him, he struggled up Lowick Beacon today though and quite enjoyed himself I think (he looked unsteady on the steep climb up mind).
Grand day to be out though with Jake, Jen and Fuzzy!

The hardtail (Trek Stache 7 from 2014) is all fettled up and ready to go!!!! I have relieved the Whyte of it's forks (Rebas being a good bit better than Silver TK), up and downy seatpost, DMR Vault pedals, carbon bars and, of course, Hope Tech 3 E4 brakes.
Everything else is now ready to be cleaned up and sold on!

The Mish is burned out... fell asleep this afternoon on the sofa whilst we de-Christmassed the house.

This is a photograph that I have been planning for a few years, but never had that moment when the conditions have been right and I have had a little time to execute it!
This morning it was -5C with a hard frost, which is what I had been waiting for... and I was in no rush to be anywhere. Hope you like the result!
