I thought I would start off the month with a night-time cityscape, but my initial idea wasn't going to work as the layout was not as I had it in my head! I popped over to the west a short distance away and tried this one instead though.

Not what I had in mind for an "Inverness by Night" photo, but a wee bit different to the usual!

The river is back in good flow now that we are moving into winter. I took a slow exposure on this one using the bridge and the handy in body stabilisation of the Nikon to blur the flow just enough to give the impression of movement.
