I couldn't resist taking a drone over to my "old faithful" of Daffodil Cottage in the old village of Eskart in Glen Coiltie today. The light was bathing it in a golden warmth that was so at odds with the biting cold and heavy frost that was pervading still in the shaded side of the glen.

A very cold, wintery, Loch Meiklie in Glen Urquhart. The loch is frozen over following a few days of comfortably sub-zero temperatures by day and night.
