Out shooting some arrows with Lachlan... preparations for the next sassanach incursion, obvs.

The ruins make for a handy range too!

He is better than me!

So getting out for today's jobs was challenging - I made it out on the A82 just before it was shut by a landslide, abandoned the drone job planned for this morning... headed to Invergordon for a shoot and then back for a first test shoot for a new client (which came out rather nicely DESPITE the monsoon conditions).

Then had to get home!

A diversion down the back road in Strathglass was decided as the best option after conferring with the RNLI crew (when it is so wet that you ask the lifeboat crew for advise....) and the next hour and a half was one of the more dramatic and seat of pants drives that I have faced in years! Compounded somewhat as my car is having dents knocked out of it and I am driving around in a Toyota Aygo again!!!!

I stopped along the way to take a quick shot of this usually babbling burn that comes off the hillside into Strathglass. This was by no means the most dramatic sight, but the really impressive stuff had me worried about stopping the car and getting out!!!!
