Where did Angus get the 'tude whilst driving?

Today we went to the fair, picked up a replacement 12v battery for my car - which is now working, but is asking for a password I forgot so it will be a trip to the dealer tomorrow for a reset! So a somewhat if not entirely successful day!

Stopped off in Culloden Woods to kill a wee bit of time as I was (shock horror) running early this morning! I had anticipated popping into the car dealership to sort out my stereo code would take a wee bit longer than the 5 minutes I was there for (the unanticipated joys of changing car batteries!).

Unfortunately the weather tomorrow is looking pretty rubbish so Ardnamurchan may have to be bumped back to Friday in leiu of going for a walk as the end of the week is looking stunning... and this job is about 3 weeks over due thanks to uncooprative meteorlogical circumstances!

It's been a rather "challenging" day today - spent ages trying to accomodate a client (through an agency - so poor rates of pay), and after 3 hours of back and forth and sacrificing any chance of lunch on Thursday it was all sorted.

An hour later she cancelled.

I was so close to bouncing the job in the first place but felt that I should show some kind of willing that it has left me rather irate. Just had another agent asking if I can "squeeze in" her job before it is scheduled a week today... given it's a 4 hour round trip... nope, not a chance! This is adding to the overall feeling that I should probably let the FA work go at some point. I am giving it a year and will then see how things are looking I think.

Anyway - here are the Falls of Divach this afternoon as I reflect on life through nature!

The remains of the ring cairn at Mains of Gask, just south of Inverness on the edge of Strath Nairn. This sturcture dates back to the late Neolithic/early Bronze Age and is quite an impressive monument! It's just a shame that it isn't more accessible and presented in a way that lets the public get a real feel for it!
