The blatant copying which goes on within the Chinese toy industry never ceases to amuse me and is perfect for my unusual collecting habits. Admittedly i'm more used to collecting copies of Tomica and Matchbox but I recently discovered a company who trades under the initials LR and who's products are almost entirely made up of copies of more recent Hot Wheels castings. This Porsche 911 GT3 RS is typical of their output in terms of quality which is surprisingly acceptable, there is no interior but the casting is pretty accurate and external features such as lights have tampo detailing. What I do like about the products of LR over the original Hot Wheels is the fact that all their models and castings are free from garish logos and flames. Bought directly from China. Mint and boxed.
