Although the real first generation BMW X5 has been out of production for over a decade it still features in the line ups of many toy makers who obviously don't feel the need to retire a casting just because the real vehicle has been superseded. This fairly basic looking one is made by the Chinese Shuang Da company and is part of a decent sized range of 1/64 castings mainly based on modern European vehicles. Its not a licensed casting but the distinctive X5 body styling shines through especially in this plain yellow colour and for a cheapo it still manages to have detailed headlamps and an interior. Part of a five vehicle set bought directly from China. Mint and boxed.
