Such an impressive looking small scale and cheaply priced model truck deserves to be identified as being based on a real vehicle but so far i've not found anything which strongly resembles this cab design. I would be surprised if it was completely generic but its a confusing mixture of U.S. and Chinese influences so who knows! LOL
What I do know is that the Chinese toy company who makes it uses this cab for a whole host of different truck bodies, all of which are surprisingly realistic and robustly constructed including this petrol tanker. Great detailing on all four sides including a metal riveted effect tanker. Bought directly from China back in January 2017. Mint and boxed.
