The Novacar series was a short-lived range of plastic bodied 1/64 models made by the Portuguese company Minia Porto before they were taken over by Majorette in the late 1980's or early 1990's and briefly continued to make a handful of existing castings by the French company, again converted to plastic bodies. They were actually available here in the U.K. as I remember buying the majority of mine from sometime in the 1990's from a local and long gone discount shop. Rather like the recent MBX obsession of using plastic the actual quality of this Nissan Terrano is actually pretty good with only a distinct lighness giving the game away and the actual crispness of the casting is unaffected. An interesting footnote in the history of the Portuguese toy industry I was able to buy this very cheaply on Ebay recently. Mint and boxed.
