With just four Johnny Lightning models in my collection including this recent addition I can confidently say I dont really know too much about this brand apart from the fact its had several deaths and changes of ownership!
They have never been readily available here apart from the odd specialist model shop and I've always associated them with more premium adult aimed products rather than toys. With this in mind I'm a little confused as to where this 1975 Buick Century fits in. Its rather small size and clunky appearance suggests more Hot Wheels than Greenlight yet it still manages to pack a punch with its all metal construction and intricate wheels indicating it can't have been sold at HW and MBX prices. Can anyone help me out here?
