Of course i'm not a fan of such tooned caricatures in miniature but when its based on a BMC vehicle then who am I to say no!
This super cute, super squashed looking BMC Mini is part of a new 1/64 range to hit the shelves of Poundland after several months of selling some pretty horrendous wooden and rubber Hot Wheels monstrosities. They are part of a small range of equally tooned classic vehicles such as the VW Beetle and 1950's Ford Thunderbird and are of surprisingly nice quality with attractive wheels and flawless paint jobs. No interiors but thats to hide their little pull back motors but cheeky enough to warrant buying just to put a smile on your face. The packaging says they are 1/64 but in reality they are much bigger though not as big as 1/43 which would put them out of my collecting zone. They are branded as TXA products but a quick look at the PO Box address given at the back reveals that this is just a Poundland in house brand. The actual Chinese maker remains a mystery.
Mint and boxed.
