The original Tomica London Bus casting was first introduced way back in 1977, a very good year I have to say ;-p, and unbelievably is still very much alive and well today. It continues to get regular recolours and updates and may well be around for another 40 + years! Naturally it got its fair share of cheapo copies like so many other Tomica products of the period yet in total contrast of the norm, it has actually outlived ALL of its pretenders.
This example appears to be one of the best copies, so much so that its actually often mistaken for the real thing and was I believe made by a company called Fullright who I don't really have any knowledge on. It uses an all metal construction which gives it a very meaty feeling of robustness and even has a Tomica like working suspension.
Not technically a London Bus at all as this Daimler Fleetline based bus with its extended bodywork was never available here in the U.K. Another very kind donation to my collection thanks to Mikaela.
