In years gone by Poundland used to be the go to place to find not only the usual Matchbox and Hot Wheels but all sorts of weird and wonderful Far Eastern stuff too. In recent times they have thankfully gone back to Matchbox and Hot Wheels but have largely ignored the really cheapo 1/64 diecasts except for the usual awful generic HTI and Zuru ranges.
Recently a series of twin packs have appeared which contain some rather cheeky Hot Wheels copies sold under the Nitro Legends name, no manufacturers name to be seen anywhere but after some intensive research i'm fairly confident they are produced by a company called Xu Ye.
The above model is clearly an hilarious spoof of the original Hot Wheels Bone Shaker which in some ways is quite the faithful copy, certainly at the front end with its trademark skull shaped radiator. Everything after is poor cheapo Chinese with a lot of plastic and lightweight metal.
Mint and boxed.
