The Kei car is still king in Japan and surely none are quite as cute as the Suzuki Lapin, a car I saw a LOT of whilst over there recently. It does retro without being too cliched and offers a chic alternative to some of its more boxy competitors and of course inexpensive to run.
This gorgeous little model is made by Stasto who usually offer their products through the many vending machines you can find in various retailers. Because of that their construction is entirely of plastic but they are cheap to buy and offer startling amounts of detailing and accuracy. Well, once you've finished off completing it yourself which involves fitting the roof rack and front panel. An opening rear hatch was an unexpected touch.
