Although Poundland proudly sell a big range of Hot Wheels and Matchbox they still obviously sell a lot of the cruder Chinese stuff, all unbranded and unlicensed. They tend to be more 1/43 or larger scale but occasionally they still get in oddities like this bus. Its so cheapo all its detailing is done by stickers though cleverly by doing this they can alter the styling of the bus without the need of changing the actual casting which in this case is just a piece of plastic! Part of a three vehicle set sold under the Fantastic name. Mint and boxed.

I don't normally buy models with novelty features but this plastic "Audi R8" was so well cast and detailed for the money that I had to buy a few. Currently on sale at Poundland they feature a separate key which you put into the back of the vehicle, press a button and off it goes! Made in China by an unknown manufacturer. Mint and boxed.

Quite a nice small scale plastic Audi R8 model picked up from my local Poundland the other day. It's an unlicensed casting hence the lack of Audi badging but is a pretty good likeness to an R8. It is actually made of plastic and comes with a launch key a bit like the Key Cars from the 1980's. Obviously made in China its manufacturer is unknown. Mint and boxed.

There seems to be a drought of low priced toy buses at the moment which has made me resort to these! LOL. Apart from the unexpectedly good wheels this has to be one of the crudest bus models in my collection. Basically just a piece of plastic with stickers all round to make up the detailing. I have absolutely no idea of the actual Chinese toy manufacturer nor try to identify if this is based on a real vehicle. Part of a three vehicle set currently on sale at Poundland. Mint and boxed.

So crude its almost loveable! I'm not sure there is any point in trying to identify the toy maker or what real vehicle this is based on but i'm certainly open to any ideas. It may well not be based on anything as this bus is basically a lump of moulded plastic with all its detailing done via crudely applied stickers. Strangely the wheels actually look quite good for what is a VERY cheapo model. Part of a three vehicle set from Poundland hence the the Fantastic brand. Mint and boxed.
