Hardly one which will get collectors reaching for their wallets but I will always appreciate a diecast, no matter how cheapo, that clearly looks as though it based on a real vehicle. Sold as a Red Deer Toys product but made by Kai Yang Da, this Ferrari F430 based casting is far more preferable than a HTI generic. Found recently in a discount shop near me called Super Pound Store. Aston Martin One-77 based 1/64 model by an unknown Chinese toy maker. Part of a range of equally licensing fee dodging supercar castings, they arn't too bad for the money though are obviously very low end fodder. Sold in sets of two under Poundlands own Funtastic brand. Mint and boxed.

Although I dearly wish UK stores would be awash with Majorette, Welly, Norev and Matchbox etc....i'm glad to see at least one discount store completely devoid of ANY HTI generic diecasts. Instead they had a small range of Kai Yang Da castings sold under the very respectable sounding Red Deer Toys. Certainly not high end but enough to satisfy my cravings for the cheap and obscure side of collecting. Mint and boxed.

Cheekily HEAVILY based on a Lamborghini Gallardo is this unbranded el cheapo 1/64 model. There are still many many Chinese toy manufacturers who are happy to sail very close to the wind when it comes to producing unlicensed models which are very close to the real thing! I've no idea who the manufacturer of this Lambo is but the same maker makes quite a large range of 1/64 modern European supercars which were recently offered in sets of two through U.K. Poundland stores. VERY thinly disguised "generic" model of a Ferrari F430 Spyder. Made by an unknown Chinese maker, it is currently sold in Poundland stores in sets of two. Not actually too badly cast and even has a fairly well detailed interior and lights. An unexpected find considering Pounlands reliance on the products of Mattel for its 1/64 range. Mint and boxed.
