Aoli, the company behind the A&L brand, may not be particularly well known over here in the U.K. and possibly most Western countries but in China they make and sell quite a large range of interesting and alternative 1/64 models. They are all unlicensed but most resemble real vehicles and often feature opening parts and pull back motors. No type of vehicle is off limits including buses of all vintage like this Leyland/Volvo Olympian with its very strange triple axle arrangement!
Crisply styled with painted external features it has a weighty robust feel largely absent in low end diecasts not to mention separate rubber tyres and a decent looking interior. Part of a 12 vehicle set bought from China back in April 2016. Mint and boxed.

If you want to buy a new pocket money priced and Matchbox sized double decker bus model here in the U.K. then the chances are you are limited to the one Leyland Titan style toy imported by HTI. Look further afield and the choice widens somewhat especially if you look in the direction of China with plenty of manufacturers such as AOLI producing much more realistic stuff. This open top sight seeing bus looks to be heavily based on a good old Leyland Victory MK2 and although it isn't a licensed casting it does impress with its heavyweight metal construction and very crisp styling. It also has nice wheels with separate rubber tyres and plenty of painted features. Part of a 12 vehicle bus set bought directly from China though sadly which contained quite a few duplicates. Mint and boxed.

A full four vehicle set of Aoli products and I can't identify a single one! Grrrrrr! LOL
The last one in this particular set is this bus/coach with a distinctly oriental look about it so maybe its based on a real Japanese or even Chinese vehicle, again any suggestions are more than welcome. Well cast and well finished for a cheapo diecast with painted lights and decent looking wheels though sadly those oversized plastic side mirrors are very delicate and no doubt would break off very quickly in a childs hands. Mint and boxed.

Aoli make a decent selection of Matchbox sized buses which although unlicensed are usually pretty easy to identify but again here we have one who's identification has me stumped! Whatever real bus this model is based on its probably only loosely so but nonetheless looks more realistic than the last plastic bus we saw from Matchbox! Crisply cast with nice front detailing and in roofless sight-seeing guise which is fairly unusual for this scale and bottom end price range. Part of a four vehicle set. Mint and boxed.

Another AOLI diecast model which should be relatively straightforward to identify when in its packaging but once opened is actually more difficult than I thought. I have to say I have no idea what the real vehicle is as it takes its styling cues from about a million different saloon cars though I suspect its probably based on some Japanese vehicle. Again, does anyone have any ideas?
The model itself is a typical chunky Aoli product with a nice weighty feel to it and some painted detailing to external features such as lights plus it also has the benefit of having opening front doors. Part of a four vehicle set bought from China. Mint and boxed.
