Shifeng Toys appears to be a brand of Sunfun Toys and is yet another obscure Chinese toy company i've discovered this year. Quite a lot of their castings appear to be based on or rather copied from Realtoy including this VW Transporter T4 based Universal Airlines bus. Its an unlicensed casting of course but apart from those cheap looking wheels its actually a realistic looking model which with its black grille and painted lights probably looks better than the original Realtoy version. Part of a 10 vehicle Airport themed set bought directly from China. Mint and boxed.

"One cab fits all" seems to be the philosophy at Shifeng Toys as they have cleverly been able to use this Kenworth T600 based truck design on many different Fire Engine themed body styles including this. Its mainly plastic body doesn't detract from its appeal which is of a well constructed and cast model with some nice detailing to both cab and rear tender. Part of a seven vehicle set. For a cheapo and unlicensed diecast this is certainly an impressive looking model of an articulated Fire Engine Ladder Truck complete with detachable trailer and massively extending ladder. Made by Shifeng Toys the cab appears to be based on an American Kenworth T600 truck which is hardly a surprise it that seems to be one of the default choices for many Chinese toy makers. The majority of this sizeable casting is predictably made of plastic but nothing overtly cheapo and the handsome well proportioned cab is made of sturdier metal. Nicely proportioned and well cast Kenworth T600 based Fire Engine Ladder Truck by Shifeng Toys of China. Although the majority of it is made of plastic it does have a nice chunky feel to it with an all metal cab body and a fully swivelling and retractable ladder unit. I obviously can't say for sure whether the products of Shifeng or its parent company Sunfun Toys export their wares to other countries but I do like to buy models which have their own domestic market in mind as can be seen by the Chinese script on this model. With its pretty crude styling its obvious to say this Shifeng Toys produced diecast is an unlicensed item but one which is almost certainly based on a Ford F-150. It's a typical low end model with its flimsy construction but is neatly finished with its Chinese branded Fire livery. Part of a seven vehicle set bought directly from China. Mint and boxed.
