Now this is actually the kind of vehicle I associate with Polistil, indeed I did have an original one of their Lancia Beta Montecarlo models as a child wearing exactly the same decals as this one! Its slightly more crude design and generic wheels tells you this little urchin didn't originate from Italy!
Made by Timmy Toys it copies the Polistil and the Kees copy original as much as possible and despite it being unlicensed still somehow gets away with using several well known brands such as Lancia, Pinninfarina and Martini! Undoubtably basic in its appearance, its subject matter is priceless!
Part of a 15 vehicle set probably dating from the 1980's. Mint and boxed.

Looking like a strange experiment between a Fiat Strada and a VW Golf MK1 GTI which has gone horribly wrong is this "delightful" Timmy Toys produced Golf Rally model. You can't blame Timmy Toys for this, it looks pretty identical to the original Polistil version when it briefly made a budget 1/64 range back in the 1980's. The usual Polistil Italian flair was largely absent and more so after Timmy Toys got hold of it! Looking extremely over bodied on account of its weedy little wheels and pretty cheapo through its lack of an interior this model nonetheless offered a more sporty alternative to the usual stock GTI Golfs everybody else made. It has more spoilers and skirts than a French fashion show giving it a very nice crisp and boxy appearance. Part of a 15 vehicle set. Mint and boxed.

Ooooooooh maaaaan this is one very odd looking Panda! I can't tell if the body is too big or the wheels are too small but in its current form it resembles a Giant Panda, pun very much intended! ;-p
Made by a company called Timmy Toys it is one of their many Polistil and Kees copies they made back in the 1980's and possibly into the 1990's. Equally as crude though not licensed despite its FIAT branded roof mounted paper sticker which incidentally is also copied from the original Polistil casting.
Very crude, scrappily finished but almost unique in this scale and price point for modelling the original super boxy Panda and thus deserves a bit of recognition :-)

Let's hope their isn't a Vespa scooter engine powering this mighty beast, 0-60 in 12 days! ;-p
Timmy Toys have obviously taken the Italian connection to the extremes, not only did they copy the original Polistil of this casting but they also chose an Italian supercar and an Italian scooter manufacturers name to put on it!
The original Polistil Countach didn't look very much different to this, a pretty crude and slightly over bodied affair and certainly not to their usual standards of the time. Its budget roots have been carried over by Timmy Toys who have kindly made it even more downmarket by giving it generic wheels and no interior!
Part of a 15 vehicle set probably dating from sometime in the 1980's. Mint and boxed.

A surprisingly crisply cast cheapo model of the rakish 1980's Pontiac Firebird by a long since defunct company called Timmy Toys. This looks to be one of their originals rather than the usual Polistil copies they are more known for. Very much of its era when you could find a huge assortment of interesting off brands in supermarkets and discount stores here in the UK before HTI took that market!
