Well it says Achim Pex on the packaging and on the baseplate of this small scale diecast Mercedes-Benz Actros truck so that's how I will catalogue it. It is almost certain that they didn't actually produce it themselves as I believe they are a German marketing and promotions company and who will have sourced this from a Chinese factory. I recently obtained a sizeable job lot of similar sized promotional trucks and trying to identify them has been a nightmare. The exact same castings with different brandnames printed on the baseplates, some without any names, some which look the same but are copies etc...etc...
This is a licensed Mercedes product so having no manufacturers name to attribute it to is odd. Being licensed does of course mean a full array of intricate detailing and badging and a top quality casting. An all metal cab, fully furnished with features and even some seriously realistic wheels. I'm not entirely sure what product this truck is meant to be advertising but its artwork on both trailer and packaging is superb. Mint and boxed.

Using small scale diecast trucks for promotional use is almost as old as the industry itself and can be found worldwide. Guisval of Spain are still heavily into promotions and even in the UK you will find cheapo trucks by the likes of Feisu in places such as Poundland with unique Poundland liveries.
The one country which really took to this though seems to be Germany judging by the truly vast choice of castings and liveries available, notably ones advertising German branded beers!
I have no idea the Chinese toy maker who produced this MAN TGA, surprising as its a fully licensed casting, but the marketing company of Achim Pex has put its name to both packaging and baseplate. Beautifully cast with lots of detailing and smart wheels this came part of a sizeable haul of similar diecast trucks bought recently on Ebay very cheaply highlighting just how many of these German promotional trucks were produced and vastly oversubscribed! Mint and boxed.
