When you think of Spanish produced 1/64 diecasts its invariably Guisval you might think of. They somehow survived the invasion of cheaper Far Eastern products and continue to make a sizeable range at their factory in Ibi. Sadly there is a huge graveyard of other Spanish toy companies which barely survived up until the 1990's and early 2000's such as Mira, Guiloy, Dicoys, Paya and Joal etc....
There was also a company called Gisima who briefly made a series of fairly crude models during the 1980's and early 1990's, many of which were copies of Matchbox. One trip to Spain in the early 1990's had me finding a pair of their Matchbox copying Rover SD1 3500's though stupidly I sold those some years back. They also produced their own distinctly simplified copy of the original Matchbox Volvo F10 truck seen here complete with the obligatory paper stickers so beloved of the Spanish toy makers at the time. Interestingly when you open the rear door it reveals a fully working pencil sharpener!
Mint and boxed.
