The number of new to me diecast brands keeps on coming thick and fast especially the ones which originate directly from China where their must be hundreds if not thousands of different toy companies churning out millions of models ranging from the very bottom of the pile to more extravagant larger scale items aimed and priced at the adult collecting market. The products of Meiying Toys are very much at the toy end of the market but that doesn't stop them from producing an impressive range of 1/64 trucks which has been maximised to the hilt with a huge choice of different body styles to collect. All the trucks in this range including this chunky looking Refuse vehicle all share this one cab design which is a strange mixture of modern aerodynamic styling at the front and a resolutely upright appearance from the front doors back. Its very likely its based on a real truck but frustratingly I have yet to identify which one, possibly something U.S. based or maybe even a domestic Chinese brand. The model itself is actually a great mix of above average detailing especially to the cab and lots of play value and novelty at the rear with its refuse body fully tilting with an opening rear. Bought recently directly from China. Mint and boxed.

The identity of this truck still remains a mystery though I still cling to the hope that it isn't a totally generic design as that isn't the usual style of most Chinese toy makers no matter how obscure they may be. This cement mixing truck is made by Meiying Toys and is part of a very comprehensive range of 1/64 trucks which all share this cab design but which have been fully maximised by the use of various different body attachments. For a cheapo diecast it looks and feels pretty substantial with a highly realistic looking cement mixing barrel which naturally fully rotates and even tilts too. The cab is made of metal and benefits from a modern aerodynamic look complete with a detailed grille and painted lights and even an interior too. One of many in this range bought directly from China back in November 2016. Mint and boxed.

Whatever real vehicle this diecast tipper truck is based on and as of yet I still can't identify it, what I do know that its part of a very impressive range of inexpensive trucks all using this same cab design but utilising an eye watering amount of different body styles in a way rarely seen. Made by a toy company who's name is possibly called Meiying Toys, this tipper truck has plenty of play value with its robust metal cab and realistic looking fully tilting tipping rear. Detailing is suitably impressive too with a full array of painted features including lights and grille and a realistic sounding MAC Builders logo. Bought directly from China back in November 2016. Mint and boxed.

Rather frustratingly i'm still at a complete loss as to identifying what real life truck this model is based on! Its extremely unlikely its a totally generic design and although that bluff bonneted cab design hints at a U.S. vehicle I suspect its probably based on a domestic Chinese brand. Anyone got any suggestions? I believe the toy manufacturer who makes this is called Meiying Toys and is part of a sizeable range of many types of vehicle which all incorporate this cab design. This petrol tanker is very impressively well cast with an all metal cab which is neatly designed and well detailed, the rear bodywork is equally impressive with an imposing metal look to its tanker and lots of delicate underbody features too. Bought directly from China. Mint and boxed.

I may yet not know what type of truck these Meiying Toys models are based on but clearly they offer plenty of play value for their pocket money price especially when they use plenty of moving parts like this Mobile Crane Truck. Its the same cab design used on all Meiying Toys models and is crisply cast and certainly impressively detailed especially around the front panel with a fully functioning crane at the rear. Definitely a market for this here in the U.K. which could easily be sold in any number of our high street discount stores but as yet i've only ever seen them on Chinese retail sites which is where this came from. Mint and boxed.
