With AliExpress becoming rather boring in the last few years in terms of offering interesting offbrand cheapo Chinese diecasts I thought i'd try the new Temu sales platform. I can't say it offers anything like the choice of diecasts on AliExpress but I did buy two five vehicle sets which contained some fairly realistic unlicensed castings.
Made by a company called Jinhaoye Toys this casting appears to be based on a second generation Audi R8 and shape wise it doesn't actually look too bad. Being unlicensed does mean a distinct lack of badging and some modifications to its styling but there is some painted detailing front and rear and its body is made of metal.

Well i'm 100% certain this cheapo Jinhaoye Toys casting is supposed to represent a Ferrari though i'm scratching my head as to which one. Its one piece plastic upper part suggests a LaFerrari but the rest of the body says it probably isnt?
Whichever Ferrari its based on its not such a bad casting for its ultra low price and makes you realise how much stuff like this no longer appears in the UK thanks to the domination of HTI with their nasty generics.

Tomica or Hot Wheels copy? Its hard to say exactly who inspired Jinhaoye Toys to make their own Toyota AE-86 Sprinter Trueno but they certainly have no qualms about copying the Initial D livery ;-p. What you can't really see in my photograph is the quality of its paint finish which is an almost flawless metallic white and one which betrays its very low end price.
Quite an accurate casting, its certainly better in hand than expected and even has painted rear lights too.

A surprisingly smart looking Bentley by Jinhaoye Toys though I can't tell whether its influence is from a Supersports or GT3, its livery is certainly Hot Wheels "inspired". I'm not suggesting for one minute these are high quality diecasts for the discerning collector but it is good to know that in a tidal wave of HTI/Dickie Toys/Zuru overtly generic models there are at least similar priced offerings which are clearly based on real vehicles.
This Bentley has a matte metallic green finish plus neatly painted detailing front and rear.

My first ever purchases from the increasingly popular Chinese retail website Temu have predictably been cheapo Chinese diecasts which nobody has ever heard of ;-p
Very very cheap even with postage my expectations weren't too high but once in hand they are actually QUITE accurate and clearly based on real vehicles, this of course being the latest Toyota GR Supra. Painted lights for both front and rear and matte metallic blue paint finish are neat unexpected touches though of course being an unlicensed casting means don't be expecting Tomica levels of quality!
