I've been lost to GW2 the past few days. I've got restartitis at the moment, made worse by the fact that I've just decided to pop sweetfx in and give it a whirl.
Expect crappy 'omg look at my characters just standing there' shots every now and again. Sorry >_<
This is Valoris Foestra, norn guardian. I also have an asura necromancer called Dink, who's just about the most adorable thing that ever lived in pixels. A norn ranger who I've neglected for a while, but is kick-ass awesome with a ton of attitude, her name is Rizz. I have a sylvari guardian I levelled to the heady heights of lvl 10, but I want my thief to be sylvari instead, and probably my elementalist, so I switched out.
Yeah, I like making lots of different characters. I'm not a hardcore player, I play for casual fun, to see different stories, experience different types of combat, etc. I'm probably going to need a couple of extra character slots, because I want one of everything apart from warrior and maybe mesmer. No humans for me either. So boring.
I'll get back to Skyrim at some point, I'm sure.

As per the last picture's description, another 'oh look a character standing there' shot.
Just made her, sylvari thief, her name is Sumi. Totes not after Kasumi. Nope. Not at all. >_>

This screenshotting lark is tough to get used to in GW2. I wish so so so much I could alter fov, but I'm not going to use the various programs out that that let you, just in case. I'm twitchy enough using sweetfx, and I know that that's absolutely fine to use. But dammit ...
I've not tweaked much in sweetfx. I've basically ported Kyo's K settings, and disabled everything but smaa, lumasharpening and curves, and then added my own tweaks to lift gamma gain and dpx, but nothing too major. So far, it just reduces the green fog/tint a little bit, makes things crisper, a touch more contrast, etc. I've seen some lovely screens where people have done a fair bit more, but I wouldn't really know where to start and I don't want to mess anything up. I think my settings retain the overall look and intention of the game, while making it all pop just a touch more, which is fine for now.
