St Laurence's in Walton on Trent (just over the Derbyshire border from Barton under Needwood) is a building of mixed dates, the earliest part being the 13th century chancel, whilst the most prominent features from the road are the 15th century tower and south transept from the 1330s with impressive traceried windows. The church was quite heavily restored by Street in 1868.

I was expecting to find the majority of churches locked in this area and this one didn't disappoint in that respect, being shut without keyholder info. The interior thus remains unknown to me.

St Mary's in Rosliston is like a church in miniature, with a tiny, simple 14th century tower and spire with late Georgian gothic single celled nave and chancel (which barely registers outside) dating from 1819.

Locked of course, without keyholder info, though some glimpses of the interior could be had through the mostly plain glazing.
