Timepiece by Conrad Shawcross, at the
Roundhouse, in
Camden,
London.
A bespoke installation for the Roundhouse, Shawcross' Timepiece involved 3-lights, hanging off arcing arms, that rotate for the hours, minutes and seconds. Added to this is the gnomon (shadow-caster) of a sundial rising from the centre of the room, turning the 24-equilatterally spaced iron pillars of the Roundhouse into a functioning clock.
Long exposure, shot with a
Nikon D7000 and a
Nikkor AFS DX 18-200mm F/3.5-5.6G lens. This was actually composed of two separate long exposures, merged and processed in
GIMP and tweaked in
Photoscape.
