Only 49 days left and I has been missing posting one photo a day, since my last 30 day challenge. So why not post an image each day of the last 49 days of 2022 ...
Maybe, and just maybe, then start a 365 challenge on the first day of 2023 - well, time will tell ...
Shot wide open with my RF 50/1.2L lens on the EOS R5 - pretty good combo, if you ask me ...

The 48th last image of 2022 (at least in this series) was captured on Tirisondola, just outside "Il Museo" where I been working all day long shooting images of a ancient silver collection for the Tuscan Art Center.
Shot on the backup camera, EOS R6, but still a very capable camera with the beautiful RF 50/1.2L lens.

Today our handmade ceramic plates were ready for pickup at La Bottega di Chiara in Chiusdino. White ceramic plates with the traditional tuscan paint of droplets. Just beautiful.

Shot on the EOS R6 with the fantastic RF 50/1.2L lens.

This view is the first thing I see every morning - just spectacular. The view is over Val di Merse and in the background you see Monti Amiata.
Shot with the RF 100/2.8 Macro on the trusty EOS R5. Maybe not the obvious choice of landscape lens, but I was in a hurry. Colour graded in Capture One Pro and stitched of 4 images in Photoshop.

Todays image in my "Last 49" series is just 3 meters outside our front door. This place is loaded with subjects for daily images.
This stonewall is probably several centuries old and built of the rocks the people could find in the ground. Amazing it is still standing.
Shot with the amazing RF 50/1.2L wide open on the backup cam, the R6. Got some Tri-X flair in Capture One Pro and lots of blacks and punch - RAW style ...
