With its 22 meters of height and 20 meters of width, the elliptical dome gives the visitor a magnificent glance. The total height from the floor to the dome exceeds 35 meters. On the walls of the dome are depicted St. Peter, St. Paul, St. Francis of Assisi and St. Joseph, illuminated by four large arched windows.

Entrance to Venice's famous main boatyard. The Venetian Arsenal (Italian: Arsenale di Venezia) is a complex of former shipyards and armories clustered together in the city of Venice in northern Italy. Owned by the state, the Arsenal was responsible for the bulk of the Venetian republic's naval power during the middle part of the second millennium AD.
