'Oliver Cromwell' heads north with 'The Yorkshireman'. The drain cocks were open and the sound was deafening, at least three of the onlookers are covering their ears!

The next part of the route would be via Corby and Manton, including the Harringworth viaduct.

The loco took on water provided by the local fire service at Kettering.
