A couple of seconds later the young lady turned to walk towards her train with tears streaming down her face. Unfortunately I'd lowered my camera by then and missed what might have been a shot filled with high emotion.

She had 'misused' her bargain ticket by catching a different train and had to pay the full fare.

Good news! Friends and contacts of Philip (Auchlander on flickr) are mostly aware of his very sad death earlier in 2012. Led by his lifetime friend Chris we have clubbed together to scan his amazing collection of photographs and they will start to appear on a new flickr account shortly.
